Our new media relations officer
Following our recent call for candidates, we are very happy to announce the appointment of Sophie Croteau as media relations officer for the 2015 edition of the FBDM.
Sophie will be responsible for developing and applying the festival’s communication policies. She will promote the 9th art and its artists, and establish interest and good working relationship with Anglophone and Francophone media.
We have been charmed by her dynamism, her personality and her lively interest in the comic scene. We’re convinced that her broad experience in coordinating cultural projects and communications, notably as director of communications for the St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival, will be major assets for the FBDM. We believe that she will represent the festival with efficiency and aplomb.
We would also like to thank all of the candidates who have shown their interest in this position. The fascination they expressed for the festival and for the field reminded us what an impact this festival has been making, and was a great boost to our spirits.
