Comics and poetry are rarely mentioned in the same breath, but in recent years a number of artists have been experimenting with the combination of these two art forms. Following a brief presentation of some possible strategies for adapting poetic texts into comics, participants will be given the opportunity to try their hand at creating their own visual response to a passage of poetry or a song lyric.
