This comic book is produced by the collective " L'Industrie " formed by Charles-Antoine Valois and Charles Fournier Phaneuf, illustrators as well as Mélodie Bibeau and Catherine Baribeau Lapointe, authors.The project was edited by Tanya Millette of " Bouc ” editions and by Pierre-Luc Laflamme, cultural agent at the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de D'Autray-Joliette.

KrRoLe is for: Krpic Robin Lemieux. The last names of the three people who founded this collective somewhere in 2022. It could have been LeRoKr, KrLeRo, RoLeKr, RoKrLe, LeKrRo... Since order doesn't matter and KrRoLe sounded good, KrRoLe it is.
KrRoLe has several works in progress, all of which are intended to be self-published. One of the objectives of the collective is to create comics in alternative or hybrid formats. Experimentation is privileged. Our projects involve, for example, printing in formats derived from other fields or different from the usual formats, proposing other roles or functions for paper or combining or superimposing different mediums.
The collective will present two finalized works whose names will be revealed during the Festival.

Danièle Archambault, Ph.D. (Linguistics) is an artist, author and researcher who is interested in visual storytelling as a way to document a society’s cultural, history and linguistic landscape. A tenured professor in the linguistics department at the University of Montreal until 1998, she now lives in Palo Alto, California. She published over nine comics and graphic novels: Stairway stories, (a series of four books) Québec-California, La sobriété volontaire (A Year Without a Drink) Calendrier de l’Avent et du temps des Fêtes, Smiling through the mask, Rires sous masque, etc. She has had solo and group exhibitions (juried) in Canada and in the United States. She teaches the art of visual storytelling (comics, graphic novels, children books, etc.) at the Palo Alto Art Center and other cultural and educational venues, from primary school to university level. A regular guest speaker on documenting culture and dialects through visual narratives, she is the co-founder of the Northern California educational program French language and culture through comics. Originally from Montréal, she now lives in Palo Alto, where she has been an artist-in-residence in the CASP program, City of Palo Alto (CA), 2014-2022.

Established over 25 years ago, Adventure Press made it its mission, through a wide range of comic book series and illustrated albums, to foster curiosity and a love of reading in children. Rich and varied, the French-language comic book catalogue includes an extensive list of Quebec-authored series: L’Agent Jean, L’Univers est un Ninja, Les expériences de Mini-Jean, Les mégaventures de Maddox, Maddox et Aurore, Léon, Aventurosaure, Vinyasa ninja, Club Licornes, Aube du monde des rêves and Jimmy Tornado. Adventure Press also owns the French rights to Garfield, a fan favorite amongst comic book lovers. Three of our original series are also available in English: Jon le Bon, Adventurosaur and Jimmy Tornado. Adventure Press is distributed throughout Canada, as well as in France, Swiss and Belgium.

Le Regroupement littéraire Jeunesse de Saint-Ours (RLJSO) est un OBNL qui organise depuis 15 ans un concours littéraire, le Conc'Ours, pour les jeunes de 6 à 17 ans de tout le Québec. Pour participer au Conc'Ours, ces jeunes auteurs et autrices écrivent un livre du genre littéraire de leur choix (roman, conte, poésie, nouvelles), mais peuvent également produire un album de bandes dessinées. Cette 15e édition du Conc'Ours du RLJSO a vu naître une catégorie BD avec règles, critères d'évaluation et prix distincts. Le RLJSO offre aux 60 participants.es retenus.es annuellement pour son Conc'Ours soutien pendant la rédaction du livre ou réalisation de l'album, correction, mise en page et impression de livres et albums. Le concours se termine par le Salon du livre jeunesse de Saint-Ours, ainsi que par un gala de remise de prix où les lauréats.es remportent des bourses de 100$ à 500$.

SK6 is a duo of artists, Vice and Ash, based in Canada. They've been working on multiple comics revolving around LGBTQ+ content and Urban Fantasy. Their main title being the webcomic 9mm Girls. A visual novel about the same project is currently in development. Their other titles, the webcomics Moving In, Girl Love Treats, and Have No Fear Of Ice Cold Beer are all available as early access content on the website Tapas.io.

Windy & Wallflower is a collaborative effort between two queer creators: Winter Jay Kiakas and Tas Mukanik. It began as with the two of us coming together and collaborating on a few works, and eventually blossomed into a full-fledged independent company! We especially enjoy writing and creating stories—be that through comics, prose, or something in-between—and printing them in beautiful books to really let them shine. We put a lot of love into every process of our books, right up into printing them in the best quality. As queer creators, we also always seek to involve queer identities in them in any way we can.
