About Léa Maurizi
Léa Maurizi is a cartoonist and comic strip author. A multi-disciplinary artist, she practices modelling, engraving and photography. Trained as a scriptwriter, she has worked on several short films, and is now turning her attention to documentaries. In all her work, whether scripted or graphic, Léa strives to represent the Corsican society in which she lives and grew up. Between Bastia, Niolu and the eastern plain, these different settings fuel her imagination. Through her artistic productions, Léa also seeks to convey her feminist commitments.
