E.B. Sciales is a New Jersey-born cartoonist living in Montreal. She got her MFA at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont. E.B. has been particularly inspired by early-to-mid 20th century American cartooning, though her comics range significantly in style and mode of storytelling. She has drawn autobiography, 1950s-style romance, slapstick pantomime, nonfiction and cookbook comics. She is currently working on a long form comic, Little Eden, which is set in the 1970s at the Jersey shore.
