About Aurore Juin

Aurore Juin is an illustrator and author of independent graphic novels. Based in Montreal, she develops a committed graphic and literary practice that delves into the notion of self-narrative. She believes that understanding oneself and others is deepened through artistic gesture and the development of an autonomous creative routine that must be carefully cultivated. Her work explores memory and the journalistic documentation of lived experience, whether major or seemingly anecdotal. Aurore Juin regularly presents her work in books, magazines, and collective publications. She continuously expands her technical skills, refining her mastery of various mediums such as Riso printing, screen printing, linocut, and zines.
