About Marie-Catherine Lapointe

Marie-Catherine Lapointe began her life in Quebec City, and you can hear it when she says “arrête” and “baleine”. She is currently completing a dissertation in creative writing at the Université du Québec à Montréal, and regularly publishes her texts in magazines whose names begin with the letter “p”, such as Postures, Popenstock and Panier de crabes. She is also the author, published by Cardinal, of Guides drôles et sympathiques sur l’art de vivre au chalet and Manuel du parfait tannant. In her spare time, you'll find her at the Marché aux puces Saint-Michel looking for old manners books and Dominion glass. She also collects used trophies (she's never won anything).
