Will McPhail is a comic book illustrator and writer. Since 2014, he has published drawings and sketchbooks in The New Yorker. His work has also been featured in Private Eye and the New Statesman. His first graphic novel Au-Dedans (In, 2021) was named Book of the Year by the prestigious Guardian and by the Irish Times. In 2022, he won the Betty Trask Award.
