Originally from Quebec City, Marc Pageau has lived in the Beauce region since 2006, and has been working as a freelance cartoonist, illustrator and comic strip artist since 1991. After obtaining his B.A. in Visual Arts from Université Laval, he worked for several magazines, including Safarir and Solaris (a science fiction literary magazine). Throughout his career, he has drawn hundreds of illustrations for various organizations, including school publishers. As a live cartoonist, he has worked at the Salon du Livre de Québec for the past ten years, as well as for a number of corporate events. In 2015, he published a portfolio of fantasy illustrations entitled Carfaxitude with Moelle Graphique. He is participating as a comic strip artist in the collective album René Lévesque - Quelque chose comme un grand homme, published in 2021 by éditions Moelle Graphik.
