Xavier Cadieux lives in Montreal. In 2015, he published his first album with éditions de La Mauvaise Tête, Les 500 premiers Cadieux, an autobiographical tale (and here, by autobiographical, we mean something completely absurd and rather fictional!) The following year saw the publication of Mon gros lit chaud ou J'ai vu comment j'allais mourir, a collection of self-published works on the web, sprinkled with a good dose of chaos magic. With Byanca Bert, he publishes Du Bon Manger, 3 numéro, a zine of short strips about food and our relationship with it. Xavier Cadieux engraves in the marble of paper the precious knowledge shared with him by scribes as diverse as Charles Beauchesne (Les pires moments de l'histoire, Front Froid) and Iris Boudreau (Les autres, Bayard Canada). His work with them has earned him the attention of a wide readership. In 2019, he's also the graphic architect in charge of the big log-niverse project: a fictional Lower Canada drenched in homemade maple syrup moonshine, with Alexandre Fontaine Rousseau on text, for Éditions Pow Pow.
