Syan Rose is a NYC-based artist and illustrator. Her work is uses text and image to address and process complicated ideas like ancestral history, queer embodiment, and social movements.
Syan’s debut illustrated book, Our Work is Everywhere: An Illustrated Oral History of Queer and Trans Resistance was released with Arsenal Pulp Press in April 2021. She’s also been featured in Bitch Magazine, Truth Out, Autostraddle, Slate, and Gay Magazine, and has self-published many comics and zines.
