About Daniel Ha
Daniel Ha is a cartoonist and illustrator living in Montreal. He is best known for portraiture with a hard line, similar to comics art, and for his webcomic Casanovice, a series that can be described as the Sex and the City from the point of view of 20-something men. He is a graduate of Dawson College’s Illustration and Design program. His work can be seen in the historical museum Musée du Fort in Quebec City. He has also worked for Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival. His comics have appeared in the now defunct zine Mensuhell, in Sequential Pulp, and in the anthology Vestibulles. His short comic A Sunset was a finalist for the 2011 3Macs carte blanche prize. He likes writing about himself in the 3rd person, but usually with a self-deprecatory tone.
