Olivier Robin was born in 1978. He began studying and working in the field of acoustics in 1999 and became a professor in 2021 (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Sherbrooke). His parallel interests in popular science and comics have led him to publish scientific articles with cartoonists (Catherin and Marsi), to edit two books (Dessine Ta Science in 2022 with Benoît Leblanc and Fantastique Acoustique in 2024) and to write screenplays (Tuer Le Peintre, with Étienne Poisson – Bédélys independent francophone in 2022 and Prix Réal-Fillion in 2024).
