Alain Chevarier is a director and editor, and has been collaborating with La Fabrique culturelle since 2013. He holds a bachelor's degree in cinema and painting from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and a certificate in directing from INIS. He was nominated for best directing at the Gémeaux Awards in 2013 for Tout le monde dehors. In 2021, he illustrated the cover of René Levesque – quelque chose comme un grand homme and drew one of the most beautiful chapters, telling the story of René Lévesque in Korea. In 2020, he obtained a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts for Géants aux pieds d’argile.
