Ariane Gélinas is the general and literary co-director of Le Sabord. She is the author of, among others, L'enfant sans visage (XYZ), and the trilogy Les villages assoupis (Marchand de feuilles, Prix Arts Excellence, Jacques-Brossard and Aurora/Boréal). Her novels Les cendres de Sedna (Prix Arts Excellence and Aurora/Boréal), Quelques battements d'ailes avant la nuit and her collection Criminelles (co-written with Maureen Martineau) have been published by Alire. A columnist and critic, she holds a doctorate in literature from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, where she is a lecturer.
