A woman of many talents, Caroline Héroux is a writer, screenwriter and film producer. She has been working in the film, television and entertainment industry for over twenty years. She first made a name for herself in Los Angeles, where she produced over 300 concerts on Sunset Boulevard for Billboard Live. In Quebec, she is best known for writing and producing the films À vos marques... party! (2007, 2009) and Sur le rythme (2011). But she is above all the happy mother of two children. Her son Charles-Olivier inspired the character of Lolo, the hero of Défense d'entrer! Her idea was to write THE book that would please her son, THE book that would finally give him a taste for reading. Because, let's face it, reading is not the favorite activity of 10-year-old boys! Beyond the inspiration, a real collaboration was born with Charles-Olivier who worked alongside his mother for the writing. It was then with her daughter Catriona that she published the Défense d'entrée! Filles. The series of children's novels Défense d'entrer! (13 volumes) is a huge success with young readers. And the universe is now enriched by a comic book, a series for the youngest (Les Pareils) and a spin-off series for girls (Défense d'entrer! filles t.1 and 2). Caroline Héroux has written and is currently filming the television adaptation of this successful series.
