SHAWN KURUNERU is an artist making comics since 2018. In 2022 he was a recipient of the Koyama Provides grant for his comic Alien Glove; 2020 his self published comic ELVIS AND DAISY was selected for the MICE mini grant award. Kuruneru’s work has been published in The New York Times, Artforum, Architectural digest, Vogue, Domus, Document Journal, The Believer, The Guardian, Figaro Japon, among others.
