Professor of literature and communications at Collège de Maisonneuve in Montreal, with a doctorate in comparative literature from the Université de Montréal. I have developed a course in comic book creation. I write about comics and film, with a particular interest in issues of power related to racial characterization, and especially what this means for First Peoples in relation to the Canadian colonial state. In comics, I have also been interested in issues of technology. On these issues, I am co-author of the chapter "Digital Comics in Francophone Countries" in the book Perspectives on Digital Comics (McFarland 2019).
