Payton Surette is a cartoonist and rambler based out of Montreal. His specialty is 12-page comic floppies about a variety of topics from activism to frog monsters. Having a penchant for trash and other discarded stuff, Payton incorporates old comics and all kinds of things into his art practice, also making clothing, notebooks, and zines. They say that if you throw some Speedball ink and a lit firecracker down a sewer grate, Payton will appear in a puff of smoke and offer you a soda.
