Celine Loup is a Swiss-American cartoonist and illustrator based out of Baltimore, MD. She earned her BFA in Illustration from The Maryland Institute College of Art in 2010. In 2019 Boom purchased her Ignatz-nominated graphic novella about post-partem psychosis and domestic violence, The Man Who Came Down The Attic Stairs. Her aesthetics are informed by 20th century woodblock prints, Swedish electronic music and drag performance. She has a passion for traditional media and enjoys playing with gestalt and abstraction.
