Macha is an author, motion designer, illustrator and teacher at the Delcourt Academy. Born in the early 90s in Picardy (France), this millennial developed her attraction to comics very early on: her childhood drawings were small strips dedicated to her grandparents, she often missed her bus because she was too focused on her Kid Paddle, and in high school she skipped her math classes to go read the few titles available at the library (Maus, the Nikopol trilogy, etc.). After obtaining a law degree – without much conviction, she ended up joining ESAG Peninghen (Paris) in 2012, where she trained in drawing and graphics. She is passionate about publishing and graduated in 2017 with the support of her master, Etienne Robial. Faced with a graying world of work and salaries that do not allow her to live properly, Macha deepens her knowledge in video creation and starts working as a motion designer. If she finally finds a professional and personal balance, she misses comics, her first love. She still manages to get back on the road, publishing in friends' magazines, helping out with proofreading, design/layout and, above all, finally starting to write for herself. Today, Macha is writing her first comic strip.
