Dinah Rajemison Ramanoara, aka Catmouse James, was born in Madagascar in 1990. She is a graphic designer and illustrator. She holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Strategy from INSCAE in Antananarivo (2009-2012). In 2016, she was selected to illustrate the collective comic Ho avy an-tsary (A drawn future). Her first album, entitled Ary, tome 1 : Les yeux d'Isalo, scripted by Rolling Pen, was published in August 2018 by Des Bulles dans l'Océan, followed by two others in 2020 – La Gorge d'Ifaty and Les aimants de l'Ambre in 2022 –, concluding a trilogy on the phantasmagoria and traditions of southern Madagascar, through a little girl in search of her identity against a backdrop of current problems (water, desertification). She is currently working on a one-shot for the same publisher, Verso.
