François De Grandpré likes to write funny things and have them delivered by others. That way, if it's not funny, he can get away with it, saying it wasn't delivered the way it was intended. Since graduating from the National School of Humour's author program in 2009, he's made a lot of people say funny things. For example, Charles Beauchesne, on his podcast Les Pires Moments de l’Histoire, three-time winner of the Olivier for “Scripted Podcast of the Year”. He also made the Grandes Gueules say funny (and often vulgar) things on the radio for four years. He co-wrote the graphic novel L’asile de St-Iscariote, a gothic horror comic that contained a notable amount of funny stuff. He also put words into the mouth of Pierre-Luc Pomerleau on stage and on the web, of Didier Lambert on stage and on the Télétoon show, of Martin Vachon and several others whom he will not name, because he has your entertainment at heart (also, grocery lists are not pleasing anyone here). Sometimes he writes things that are less funny and more historical. Like those times when he worked on the Kébec series, presented on Télé-Québec. He still tried to crack a little joke here and there. That's just the way he is. That makes him endearing. François is also very destabilized when he has to write in the third person, because it gives him the impression of leaving his body and contemplating his life from afar, which makes him dizzy while sitting.
