About François Simard
A designer for over twenty-five years, François takes advantage of the calm of the night to turn away from the screen and turn to his drawing table. In 2022, he made his first foray into comics with L'histoire de 5 grands groupes métal du Québec - T.1, published by Éditions Sawin, illustrating the career of the group Anonymus. In 2023, he followed this up with Fabriqué au Rana Plaza, produced for International Development Week, and occasionally appeared in the pages of Miam magazine and on a number of novel covers. In 2024, he co-founded Éditions Nique à feu and signed the Solstice comic strip in the first issue of La Flopée. This year, he continues the adventure with Solstice - Part II in La Flopée no. 2.
