Vamille, real name Camille Vallotton, is a freelance comic book author and illustrator based in Fribourg. After studying at HEAD-Geneva and an internship with Joost Swarte, she published several comics and children's albums in Switzerland, France and South Korea. Winner of the Prix Töpffer de la Jeune BD in 2016 for her comic Speculum mortis, in 2021 she received a creative grant from Pro Helvetia for Fleurs intestinales, to be published by Sarbacane in August 2025. In 2023, she spent three months in Japan to produce L’histoire de Sakana Kid, exhibited at Lausanne International Comics Festival 2024 and awarded Best Swiss Comic at the Innovacomix festival in Lugano. "
