Born in Quebec, Rémi became interested in comics very early on, by following a reading program at his municipal library. The authors who inspire him are Tardi, Manara, Edouardo Risso, Akira Toriyama, Taniguchi, and Moebius. He is as interested in European comics as he is in manga. As an author, he illustrated several short stories in the comics collective Zidara9, and adapted Gabriel Thériault's medieval short story Un chant dans la nuit into comics. His recent adaptation of Simon Rousseau's novel La bête originelle into a comic strip was published by Les Éditions Corbeau in January 2024. As an editor, he has published, among others, the comics Le poids du vide, Frivolesque, et Bernatchez Joe. He has more than eight years of experience in the field of comics.
