About Skip Jensen
Skip Jensen is first and foremost an accomplished musician, and he's been an avid reader of comics since childhood. After a small contribution to Iris's album Justine, Skip launched his career as an author with Lachine Beach. This autobiographical chronicle recounts his childhood in Lachine, but it's also a rich and fascinating documentary on the city's history. Selected for the Bédélys independent with Lachine Beach, he eventually won the Award the following year with his second book, Un client habituel. In this album, Skip Jensen continued his work as a comics documentarian, investigating the streets of New York to find out how one man became the state's worst serial killer. He then began a fantastic comic book series named after the main character, Oslo. Two volumes have been published, L’à moitié-mort and Le refuge. A new Skip comic book is due for publication soon.
