About Annie Groovie
Playful and creative by nature, Annie Groovie has always had a head full of ideas! With her pared-down graphic style, minimalist illustrations, absurd humour and wordplay, she entertains young and old alike, while seeking to educate and make her readers think. Like her character Léon, Annie Groovie is greedy, goofy, a fan of acrobatics and the circus, and loves to have fun, laugh and play with words. In fact, she often draws inspiration from her own life to create Léon's stories.
