About Martin PM
Martin PM is a native of Montreal. Curious by nature, he is interested in scientific research, social issues and politics. He practices observational drawing, sketching portraits from life, to better understand the society in which he evolves. He sees comics as a powerful medium combining text and image. He collaborates with university research teams to popularize their work, as well as with media such as Québec science and Nouveau projet magazines, Planches magazine and the Un point cinq platform. In 2023, he combined his interests in comics and biodiversity, publishing the zine Bonne COP, Bad COP, about the UN Biodiversity Conference in Montreal. In February 2024, he published Un Sacrifice tout naturel (La Pastèque & Atelier 10), a journalistic comics investigation into the failings of biodiversity protection in Quebec. Previously, he illustrated the children's documentary series La Préhistoire du Québec (Fides) and coordinated the Crémage and La Brique du dinosaure collectives.
