About Jordanne Maynard
Originally from Quebec City, Jordanne Maynard trained in comics at the Université du Québec en Outaouais and at the ESA St-Luc in Brussels. Over the years, she has published in numerous Quebec collectives, such as Planches magazine, La logique du Calendrier and Trip. Her final project, Joey Pyro; La face collée sur l'asphalte, a simian punk story, won the special jury prize in the independent comics category of the Bédélys in 2017. She also contributed to the collective work René Lévesque | Quelque chose comme un grand homme published by Moelle Graphik in 2021. A hardened music lover with a passion for art history, Jordanne is currently working on several comic book and illustration projects at the Atelier Gauguin Pont-Aven under the sharp eye of Le Singe Peintre.
