About Caro Caron (Caroline Caron)
Caro Caron thrives on little things, on what is lost at the deep end of pockets, on treasures overlooked by the distracted eye. Illustrations, comics, paintings, etchings, collages, murals, body painting, atypical stage sets for crazy events are all graphic languages that serve her subversive and provocative signature, embroidered with kitsch poetry, extending her tentacles throughout the Montreal underground. She has been published many times, notably by Éditions du Remue-Ménage, Mille-Iles, Mille Putois, Cunnundrum Press, Le Dernier Cri, etc., and recently co-created a collective collection of illustrations and comics for Plume Latraverse's songs with Moult Éditions. Her work has been exhibited at Galerie Robert Poulain, La Centrale Powerhouse, Galerie Yves Laroche, Galerie GAO, Galerie Pangée, MAI, Galerie Art Neuf and in Montreal's Maisons de la Culture, among others.
