About Caroline Merola
Caroline Merola has been drawing since she was a little girl. With her pencils and coloured inks, she portrays animals, forests, nice monsters and children who are not always so… Her children, Béatrice and Olivier, their friends and the students she meets in class are an inexhaustible source of inspiration. She is the author and illustrator of nearly 40 books published in both Canada and the United States that have been translated into English, Czech and even Arabic! She was a finalist for the Governor General’s Award on several occasions and won it in 2011 for her book Lili et les poilus.
