Of Abenaki origin, Diane Obomsawin (also known by the pseudonym Obom) is a Quebecois animation filmmaker, illustrator, and comic book author. Since 1992, she has stood out for her production of animated short films, some of which have won awards, notably Ici par ici, an autobiographical story about her uprooted childhood. Her book Le petit livre pour les géants received the Montreal Libraries Youth Book Award in 2021.
