Laura Horrocks-Denis finds children’s literature, comics and illustration to be the perfect platforms for her playful spirit and whimsical sense of humour. Fueled by coffee and a colourful imagination, she delves into creativity to express the flurry of feelings that shape our human experience. After completing a BFA in Studio Arts and English Literature at Concordia University, she has lived and exhibited her works throughout Montréal, the Montérégie and the Maritimes, while continuing to develop her comic and lyrical style. Laura is currently in Montréal writing her first picture book alongside her plants, kittens and pots of pencils.
