Danielle Chaperon was born in La Malbaie. As a child, she hurried to learn to read on the back of her (frankly too) sweet cereals. She then devoured every comic book she could get her hands on. Many years later, she went on to study literature, but the field of education really appealed to her. She taught for several years in Ontario and Quebec. Since 2018, she has been leading workshops in Montreal-area schools. Danielle wrote her first children's book in 2013 and has no intention of stopping anytime soon! She has published with several publishing houses, but her first children's comic (J’aime pas ta robe, with Samuel Cantin) was published in 2023 by Monsieur Ed.
