Mélanie La Roche, MCAF’s new Executive Directo
Mélanie La Roche will be the new Executive Director of MCAF as of June 1st. She succeeds Johanne Desrochers, who is still very present and in the midst of preparing our 11th festival. Mélanie will join the team on March 1 to ensure a progressive shift transition.

The Bédélys Pay Tribute to a Giant of Québécois Comic Arts
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Montreal Comic Arts Festival, the Bédélys Awards have added a new prize, the Bédélys Tribute Award.
This prize pays homage to an individual whose work has made a major impact on the recognition and promotion of the Québécois comic arts.

Created in 2020, the Bédélys Independent Anglophone award honors the best self-published Anglophone comic book in Quebec.
